Our Needs
SCD needs material and financial support from individuals, communities, companies, local and international organizations, the Cambodian government and international governments in order to meet our goals.
The orphanage opened in September 2006 with just 39 students. Now, nearing the end of 2008 we have surpassed our expectations and grown to more than 110 children, so our needs are growing accordingly. When we dream, we dream big: with adequate funding we can build a school and another dorm building on the orphanage grounds. But our simple everyday needs cannot be forgotten:
