Chamroen is the youngest of all 5 siblings. His parents got divorced since he was 10 months old, and all of the children have come under his mother's responsibility. With so many difficulties, on 20th November 2007, the widowed mother sent him to SCD asking for help.
We have never seen him getting tired of playing with other kids or sometimes even alone. He is in the middle of attention to all people.

Sreypich's parents got divorced a few years ago. Poverty was the major cause of this. After a while she realized that she could not feed all of her 5 children, she decided to come and asked for help from SCD hoping her daughter will have good future.
On 20th November 2007, she arrived in SCD. On the playground is where we can see her most of the time. She wants to become a teacher in the future.

Chanthy comes from a very poor family. Her parents have never bought her enough study materials, nice clothes and uniform to school. She wants these things to go to school, so on 25th November 2007, she decided to come to SCD and hope she will have good future.
Chanthy is a good kid who never gives any troubles to other children or her teachers. She wants to be an accountant. When she is free, she reads books and listens to music.

Even he is now ten, but he is still little. He likes studying and never makes any troubles with other kids. His mother and father love him very much but they made up their mind to bring him here, for they realize the great value of good education.
Chenda arrived here on 11th February 2008. He wants to be a teacher. When he is free, he usually reads books and listens to music.

His mother passed away 3 years ago, and his father, whose job is a tuk tuk driver, can just eke out a living. However, He wants his son to be well-educated and then he can have a good job, so his future will be bright. On 11th February 2008, SCD accepted him.
He wants to be a teacher in the future. He likes playing football and listens to music.

To study English and computer skills are not cheap in Cambodia. It is very sad for Sokserey who is eager to learn these skills, but his poor parents can not provide an opportunity. Therefore, Sokserey pins his hopes on SCD. He arrived on 11th February 2008.
Doctor is what he wants to be when he grows up. He is never late for handing his homework. He also likes listening to music, too.

His father died; his mother is a garment factory worker with very little income that she found herself so difficult to take care of her children. She knows that only education can lead her son to bright future. Therefore, SCD allowed him to stay and study on 18th April 2008.
Bora is nice to everyone who lives with him. In the future he wants to be a doctor. In his free time he usually plays football and reads funny stories.

She wants to be a nurse when she grows up. She likes playing every game in the playground with her friends. |
