Salem decided to come and live with his mother and left his father behind after their divorce. Not only him who has come with the mother, but also his other 4 siblings. At the moment all of them are in SCD. He arrived here on 8th September 2007 with his mother.
He is one of the most hard-working boys in SCD. He is always ready to offer to help to his teachers and other staff with pleasure. Therefore, everyone likes him very much.

He is like other kids who would never complain of getting tired of playing all day if he does not have to attend classes. Even so, he is nice to his friends who usually plays with him.

His mother was seriously ill and died a few years ago. He lived with his father, three brothers and one sister-he is the youngest. His father brought him here because he wants him to study English and computer word-processing like other fortunate children in the city.
Piset started living in SCD on 11th September 2007. He has never given his teachers any problems or difficulties inside and outside the classrooms.

He is the youngest son among his three brothers and two sisters. His family is very poor, and the thing even worse is that he has only mother; his father was dead when he was five. With great experience in suffering many hardships, she expressed a desire to bring him to SCD hoping Chengneat would receive good education.
Chengneat is a smart non-trouble boy who has committed himself firmly to studying all subjects at state school and in SCD, and he is the fast-learner indeed. We wish to have such a kid more in SCD.

Neng is intelligent that his future would be great. Unfortunately, he would have not been able to continue his study if he had not come to SCD. His mother is either so poor or lack of ability to support him and other 4 children to school. Neng is the youngest, so she decided to bring him to live in SCD.
On 11th September 2007 Neng came to live here. He is so active in his English and computer classes and always has most questions among his classmates.

This year Vansothy turns 8 years old; he knows right and wrong more than previous years, though he is likely to remain fond of playing and going round as he did before. His parents often comes to visit him and are pleased to see that he is growing up very well.
Vansothy came here on 16th September 2007. So far, his English is a bit better than last year: he can read faster, clearer and more correctly.

Net comes from an extremely poor family. His parents' careers are farmers. They cannot even read, so it is impossible for them to educate their children well. Therefore, SCD has given Net a chance of hope for his bright future on 20th September 2007.
He is an obedient and grateful boy. He is usually bright and cheerful, too. After class, he does his homework, and then he reads and plays with his friends

Sophal has three brothers and three sisters. His family lives near Preah Vihear, and was so poor that he left when he was ten to come to live with his grandparents and uncle. They are also very poor, so two years ago on 20th September 2007, he was given another chance and came to SCD.
Sophal is an intelligent and hard-working boy. In his class, he is one of the most active students that are good at creating questions; and he is a fast-learner indeed.

Sophy arrived in SCD on 23rd September 2007. She is a quiet and shy girl who does not intend to talk much. However, whatever she does is always steady and sure.
