She has three brothers and two sisters. At the moment she and one of her sisters are living in SCD. Their parents brought them here on 30th August 2007 because these two kids are the loves of their lives. Her father realized that Sokteav's future will not be shining bright unless she has good education.
It is over two years that Sokteav lives here, but she has not got any changes in manner or commitment of studying. She is still friendly, helpful and especially so talkative; she likes practicing her English with all visitors who speaks English.

.He is wise, industrious and lively. He is able to understand or learn things so fast and easily. He loves education as he loves his eyes, but unfortunately his parents who had always supported him passed away when he was just in primary school for five years. Then he lived with grandparents, uncle and finally SCD on 7th September 2007.
Chantol is one of our team leaders who help controlling other small kids to be in order while eating and sleeping. He has often been admired as a helpful and hard-working boy in here.

Chinh has only one elder brother but no parents; they passed away several years ago. She and her brother decided to live with their grandparents in her village, uncle in Phnom Penh, and finally they were brought to SCD on 7th September 2007.
She tends not to talk very much and is naturally shy to her teachers and other older children. However, she is a fast-learner in her English and computer classes. And her homework is always done with much enthusiasm.

He has only mother and five sisters. After his father's death, his family has run into server difficulties: food for growing up children, clothes, materials for their school, house needed repairing and medicine. His mother was so delighted when SCD accepted Seiha on 7th September 2007.
Owing to difficulties which he has suffered from for years, Seiha turns so helpful and energetic. He helps taking care small kids and is usually ready to offer to help.

Sienghai has no father, but mother and two sisters. Even though his mother has not many children, she still needed an NGO to help rescuing her son to have good education because she does not earn enough to support all children. In the end, she found SCD on 7th September 2007.
Sienghai is a nice little boy with really sharp loud voice. He is always obedient to his teachers' wishes. When he is free from homework, he usually likes practicing his English with his friends, too.

His parents have struggled in server difficulties to make a better living for their two children, but unfortunately they could not make any change. They want their children to have good education, and then their future will be bright. Kaolee was brought to SCD on 7th September 2007 by his father.
He has never kept himself free without doing anything. He reads, writes, draws, paints, listens to music or radio, plays balls and practices his English. Therefore, he is now the center of attention to everyone

Sithon is from an extremely poor family whose mother can just earn today and that is enough to spend for tomorrow. He is the youngest child among his six siblings. He knew that there was no hope of becoming a teacher if he continued living with his mother, so he agreed to come to here on 8th September 2007.
He is known as a happy boy who has never been worrying or getting angry or making troubles with other children around him. He is also very active in his English and computer classes, and usually gets high score, too.

Sreyla's parents got divorced a couple of years ago. She lived with her mother, 4 brothers and 4 sisters. As there were so many children living together, her mother realized that there is only one place where her children can gain good education from-that is at an orphanage. Finally, she found SCD and sent Sreyla here on 8th September 2007.
This year she turns thirteen and is very helpful too. She is now one of the girl team leaders who monitor their members while eating, cleaning, washing and even sleeping.

Her parents are illiterate and so they work with their physical strength for little money to provide basic needs to every child. She has three sisters and one brother. Pottaya's parents want her to be well-educated, so that she can work and make her life easier than theirs.
Pottaya arrived at SCD on 8th September 2007. She is so lively and likes playing everything with other children who are similar to her age. She is also very talkative that never runs out of what to talk when she is in company

TOn 8th September 2007 Sokea arrived here with his mother to ask if we could accept. Both Sokea and his mother were very delighted to hear the answer 'yes'. Even if he has both parents, he would rarely eat tasty meal when he was with them. He lived in an extremely poor condition in a ragged small cottage.
Since the day he came here, Sokea has not got any change; he does not talk much and is so shy to talk to elder people. In his free time he likes playing around with his similar-age friends.
