She is a friendly, little girl who came from a very poor family. Her father and mother can hardly give her enough tasty and nutritious food, nice clothes, study materials, etc. Because of this she was sent to live in SCD where she has all 5 basic needs. They hope she will grow up with good education and morality. On 1st October 2006, Sreyleap arrived in SCD. She has been studying enthusiastically both in the orphanage and at state school. We all wish her the best.

Chit is an orphan and has 2 brothers and 1 sister. They came to live with their grandparents for several years after his parents' deaths. His grandparents are getting older and older, and they realized that they were not able to take care of their grandchildren any longer; they brought him and one of his brothers to SCD on 1st October 2006. Since the beginning, Chit has been marked as a good smart boy and is always helpful. In all classes, he has strongly challenged with other students and usually gets high score.

Chuet is a pitiful, fatherless boy. His father died since he was very young. He has 3 brothers and 1 sister. Bringing up all children became an extremely heavy burden for his widow mother for several years. It can be easily imagined how hard his mother worked for these people. This was why Chuet was allowed to live in SCD. Chuet has been admired for his helpful manner since he arrived in SCD on 1st October 2006. His study is always with good score. He hopes he will be able to make his life as bright as moonlight.

Now, Samnang has no parents. His mother died 3 years ago, and his father did not even take care of his poor son, but abandoned him out of the house. Then Samnang came to live with a neighbor who treated badly on him. Fortunately, the local authority brought him to SCD, so that he can receive good education and care. On 1st October 2006, Samnag arrived in SCD. He has been marked a very cheerful and friendly boy. His homework is always done with enthusiasm.

Sina’s parents passed away a few years ago. They could not see how hard Sina and his 3 brothers struggle in their lives. The 3 boys begged his aunt for a small place to stay, and luckily she agreed. But because she is poor and had many children as well, she let Sina go to SCD, hoping he will have a better future.

On 1st October 2006, Sina arrived in SCD. He has committed himself to study both inside the orphanage and outside at state school. He hopes he will be able to make his life as bright as moonlight in the future.

It is really a hard life to live in an unfortunate family. Moul has 3 brothers and a sister. His parents are illiterate and work as blue-collar workers. Little income they earn and big family they own cannot go together. Therefore, Moul was allowed to stay in SCD on 1st October 2006. Since then, Moul has been marked a smart boy, and the work he does is always with careful thinking. He hopes he will reach his future goal one day.

A little friendly boy, Kongkea, has no mother or father to take care of since he was five. He and his 2 brothers and a sister went to live with their grandparents. Whereas his grandparents were too old to look after all of them, they decided to bring Kongkea and one of his brothers to SCD hoping these boys would receive good education. The two boys arrived at SCD on 1st October 2006. Since the beginning, Kongkea has been a good kid to all teachers and his friends. We wish him all the best to obtain bright future.

If we think in one way, Krem is a lucky boy because he is the only child in his family. But if we think in another, he is unfortunate, lonely, and need to be taken care of. Both parents are illiterate and could not bring about happiness and prosperity for him and the whole family. Therefore, now he is starting his new life at SCD. On 1st October 2006, Krem was brought to SCD. He has committed himself to studying to get the top of his classes. Since the day he arrived, he has never had any problems with others at all.

Samath is an orphan with 2 brothers. She lived with her aunt but because she has many children and is very poor either, she couldn't give her and her brothers enough food, clothes, study materials and medicine. She wanted these children to have their bright days, so she brought them to live in SCD on 1st October 2006. She has been a good student in all classes both at state school and in the orphanage. After class, she usually likes practicing her English with guests who have come to visit here.

Bunthorn now becomes cheerful again since he came to live in SCD on 1st October 2006. He was sad for a few years after his parents' deaths.
